Meet Mr. Zeke

Hi, I’m Esequiel. Also known as Mr. Zeke. I’ve been a part of the Pinetop/Lakeside community since 1994. My first job in 1994 was as a dishwasher in the Farmer Dunn’s restaurant in Pinetop, AZ. The Dunn family guided me and introduced me to the restaurant world. Since I stepped foot into their kitchen, my life dream became to open up my own restaurant. I had the honor to work at various restaurants with highly influential coworkers throughout the years. One of the most motivating role models I’ve had over the years is Jineane Ford. She was the owner of Mama Bear’s and to this day continues to be one of the most successful women I know. These are only a few of the many people that have made an impact in my life. I’m thankful to my family, friends, and the White Mountain community for always being supportive. I am excited for this new journey.

ABOUT US

Meet Mr. Zeke

Ezequiel—also known as Mr. Zeke—has been a proud member of the White Mountains community since 1994. Introduced to the restaurant industry at an early age, he quickly discovered a passion for cooking that only grew stronger over the years. With the unwavering support of his wife and three children, Ezequiel honed his craft while working in multiple restaurant locations, gaining experience and sharpening his love for the kitchen.

In 2019, Ezequiel and his family opened their first location in Pinetop/Lakeside, turning a lifelong dream into reality. What started as a family venture soon became a second home—not just for them, but for the staff who quickly became like family too.

At Mr. Zeke’s, we’re proud to be a small-town, family-owned restaurant serving our neighbors since 2019. We’re the kind of place where good food and good company come together—and no one ever leaves hungry.

We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering classic favorites made fresh throughout the day. Whether you’re starting your morning with a hearty breakfast, stopping in for a casual lunch, or gathering with family and friends for dinner, you can always count on a meal that hits the spot.
